We are about to enter *cue music* The most wonderful time of the year, the Holiday Season, and Marge Clothing is entering it’s first holiday season with a bang.
Their new holiday pieces are elegant and chic. I’ve got a peek of a couple of their new releases below. Make sure you stop by MARGE to see all of their new releases before planning your wardrobe for this year’s Christmas party!
Marge Clothing is an upscale tall clothing brand that opened its (online) doors on July 15, 2015. Since then they have been featured in the Huffington Post, Refinery 29, NY Magazine’s the Cut, and more.
The inspiration for the name MARGE Clothing came from Kaerston’s grandmother Marjorie, who was a talented fashion illustrator and designer in the 1930s and ’40s.
A tremendous amount of detail is put into these pieces. From the thought put into how each design will fit a tall frame to the fabric chosen that will work the best and be complimentary to the designs.
Even with the pants being a longer fit, 37 1/2 – 38″ inseams (cropped pants 33″ to 34″), extra material is left with the hem to provide the ability to easily alter the pants and get a longer inseam if you need it.
MARGE Clothing is a Bay Area local brand. Their manufacturing is done here in the U.S.
From Kaerston Cooper:
“Throughout the years I have applied many of my grandmother’s practices to collections that I have designed, but in 2014 I decided to evolve these principles into an elevated design philosophy, which is the foundation of MARGE. I’ve spent endless, disappointing hours in search of beautifully designed garments to fit my frame, and my lifestyle. This is why MARGE exists. Tall women have no choice but to sift through countless brands, make do with or alter garments that “almost” fit in an effort to curate a wardrobe. MARGE understands. Our promise is to design and deliver timeless staples that earn our client’s trust by flattering their frame and complimenting their lifestyles.
MARGE is the answer for those who seek unique ways to feel beautiful, inside and out.”
Welcome to MARGE.
